First let’s start with a little confession. I have been pretty much MIA over the last few months but I have sewn a little and I have even worn some cute RTW outfits that you guys would love but since I started taking my pics outside, I haven’t wanted to take my pics inside anymore. Now that’s wouldn’t be so bad except I don’t have time before work and I often get home after dark hence the long hiatus. So I’m back to taking inside pictures and I’ll take outside pics when I can because I miss you guys. Now on to the clothes. . .
I’m working from home, running errands and might even take the kids to the movies today so I wanted to be casual and comfortable yet pulled together. I live and work in the same city and all it took was running into a client looking busted one time to teach me that lesson. I picked up these cargo style Khaki’s awhile back but hadn’t had a chance to wear them. I love that they are light weight but offer more coverage than a dress because this California weather is a mess, in the 90’s one day and the 60’s the next. I paired them with a simple while v-neck tee and my denim vest I got from Old Navy. I added a little sparkle with my shoes and jewelry and I was ready to go.
A few of you have asked me about where I get my t-shirts. Now for those of you who’ve never had to search for a plus sized t-shirt that wasn’t a boxy crew neck or super griptastic, it might seem like a strange request but they can be so difficult to find. My plain tees are by Just My Size and I buy multiple black and white ones but they also come in a wide array of colors. I swear by the v-neck tees but they also come in crew neck and I’ve seen them up to size 5X and the best part is that I buy them at Wal Mart for $5 or less. Score! I’ll leave you with a few more pics.
Very cute look!!
