It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts. I have been in a bit of a sewing slump for weeks, partially because I’ve been travelling for most of the month of July but I have been thinking about Fall sewing and adding to my Fall wardrobe. McCall’s recently released their looks for Fall and since my Hancock Fabrics is now closed, AND Club BMV had a $1.99 sale I decided to pick up a few.
I’m so intrigued by this pattern, interestingly enough, I want to make all of the views except the one modeled.
I see so many interesting possibilities with this one with different fabric combinations and interesting lines.
I do tend to live in skinny jeans and leggings during the Fall and Winter so I love View C in a nice sweater knit.
This is a great layering piece and I love View A, this great Hi-Low version.
Take a look at that back. Good right?
Another layering piece, again, I love the drape of the back.
Yaaasssss!
I love this! I can’t wait to make it. I can see myself making this one a few times.
I only sew about once or twice per year for the people but I thought this was an interesting one. In the right fabrics, I can even make it work for the Princess. What about you? Did you see any must haves?
7430. MUST have. Otherwise the vintage shirtdress from this collection really grabbed me. I have the Vogue that is extremely similar to 7429.
I can’t wait for fall!!!! 🙂

I’m just not good yet at picking casual patterns and you’ve picked some amazing ones. I kinda looked at these kept it moving but now that you’ve pointed them out there are a few that I would like to own. Thanks!
