I’m a married working mom of 5, two young women, two little boys and a sweet little girl. I’m a clinical psychologist and college professor by day and between all of my other responsibilities, try hard to find time to sew by night and on the weekends. I’ve been sewing for over 30 years off and on and had been off with the exception of home dec items and the occasional special occasion dress while in graduate school and after the birth of my first son. I decided to get back to fashion sewing because I got tired of the limited choices and exorbitant prices available to fashionable plus sized women.

I’m so happy I discovered your page. I’m a mom of 4 and although I’ve owned a sewing machine for over a year and my mom was a seamstress I can’t see….yet. Thanks to YouTube I got the machine threaded. And now looking at your page I’m inspired. Your clothes are beautiful. Since I’m officially too broke for Lane Bryant I better figure out this sewing.

Today is 8.8.16 and I was just finishing off my lunch ready to log out the internet, whilst looking at my fav sewing Utuber Mimi G, I saw a few pics of you and thought “hallelujah finally a blogger with boobs similar to mine”. I am so glad I found you. I sew but one of my biggest problems has been what to wear to fit my ample bust. I have avoided a lot of items because of this, which in turn has made my wardrobe choices very limited. Seeing you be so confident and daring in what you wear has made me rethink my whole wardrobe and address my confidence issues. I thank you so much

Just found your blog from your PatternReview of McCall’s 7020, and I’m so glad I did. I’m struggling with my size and my sewing ability, and needed some inspiration. I really like your style (and your kids are adorable – love the bow ties!). Very glad you’ve found some time to sew and blog.
